Workshop Booking & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for booking a workshop with Fallow Plants & Home. Our workshops are carefully planned and spaces are limited. This policy explains our cancellation terms.

1. Booking Confirmation

Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking. A further email will then be sent with all the information you will need about attending.

2. Cancellation by You

If you are unable to attend your workshop, please notify us by email at shop@fallowlewes.co.uk as soon as possible.

  • More than 7 days before the workshop: You will receive a full refund.

  • 7 days or fewer before the workshop: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund, as materials and staffing will already have been arranged.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.

3. Transfer of Workshop Tickets

If you can no longer attend, your workshop booking may be transferred to another person at no additional charge.

Please email us before the workshop with:

  • Your name

  • Your booking reference (if available)

  • The full name and email address of the person attending in your place

The new attendee will be welcomed in your place.

4. Cancellation by Fallow Plants & Home

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness, insufficient bookings, venue issues or events beyond our reasonable control.

If this happens, you will be offered the choice of:

  • A full refund; or

  • A transfer to another available workshop.

We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred in connection with your booking.

5. Consumer Rights

Workshop bookings are for leisure services provided on a specific date and are exempt from the 14-day cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Returns & Refunds Policy - Physical Item

At Fallow Plants & Home, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If something isn't quite right, this policy explains your rights and how to return an item.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Online Orders for Physical Products)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, please email us at shop@fallowlewes.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order.

Once you've notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

Items must be:

  • Unused

  • In their original condition

  • In their original packaging where possible

  • Suitable for resale

  • Not bought in Sale or as Damaged for a reduced price

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or receiving evidence that they have been returned).

2. Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right unless they are faulty or not as described:

  • Live plants and other perishable goods

  • Fresh flowers

  • Custom-made or personalised items

  • Gift cards or vouchers

  • Sealed products that are unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons if opened

3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs showing the damage or fault where possible

If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • A replacement

  • A repair (where appropriate)

  • A full refund

4. Returning Your Order

Unless the item is faulty or supplied in error, customers are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items.

We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we cannot be responsible for returned items lost in transit.

5. Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be made to your original payment method within 14 days.

Original standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by law if you have exercised your statutory cancellation rights. Additional delivery charges for premium or express services are non-refundable.

6. Exchanges

If you would like a different item, we recommend returning your original purchase (where eligible) and placing a new order.

If you have received a faulty or damaged item, we will arrange a replacement where possible.

7. Live Plants

Plants are living products and naturally vary in size, colour and appearance.

We take great care in packaging plants for delivery. If your plant arrives damaged or in poor condition, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs so that we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate resolution.

We cannot accept returns of healthy plants simply because they have changed after delivery due to their natural growth or because they have not been cared for appropriately.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
